Martha W. Keel, Ph.D. , is affiliated with the University of Tennessee Extension, Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. She is Professor of Housing and Environmental Health, providing leadership for programs such as: Healthy Homes, Radon, Children's Environmental Health and Sustainable Housing.
Mary E. Rogge, M.S.W., Ph.D., is affiliated with the University of Tennessee's College of Social Work as an Associate Professor. She is a Faculty Associate of the UT Energy, Environment and Resources Center and a recipient of the center's Sustainable Development Fellowship. Her research and publications examine issues of environmental, social and economic justice; children and toxic chemical risk; the consequences of technological and natural hazards for human populations and their environments; and participatory democracy and community development.
Karen Vail, Ph.D., M.S., is affiliated with the University of Tennessee Extension, Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology as an Associate Professor. As Extension Urban Entomologist, she's responsible for providing leadership to county agents, pest management professionals and the public pertaining to urban Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs related household, structural and home landscape pests; as well as actively promoting the use of IPM in Tennessee's schools since 1996. Dr. Vail is a nationally recognized ant management specialist and was the 1999 Outstanding Young Extension Worker.
Pat Parkman, Ph.D., M.S., is affiliated with the University of Tennessee Extension, Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology as an Extension Assistant, and with the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture as the IPM Coordinator. He's involved with various activities dealing with pest management including imported fire ants, grape root borer and child-serving facilities.
